I attended a HOW Design Live conference where esteemed designer Seymour Chwast delivered a keynote presentation. One of the projects he shared was a series of images he created by artistically altering copies of an enlarged advertisement featuring a quintessential 1950’s male model replete with the customary slick-backed quaff. There were literally dozens of different experiments.
He was quite proud of this series and even has one hanging in his living room. The best part was his reasoning: “It’s fun to do, especially if you hate the person.”
He’s right. Trump has one of the most repellent faces I’ve seen. Although it is hard to linger on an image of him for very long, it is indeed “fun” to modify his appearance—however repugnant he may be.
